About Us

We have twenty years experience within the Timber Product Industry and have City & Guilds Qualifications covering basic and advanced Carpentry/Joinery.

 

The owner of JWH started his career as a Bench Joiner working for a Bath Joinery Company, manufacturing bespoke external windows and doors, internal doors, staircases and Office/Hotel reception desks.

 

After twelve years he left the tools and went into a Joinery Office where he learnt Estimating, Surveying and Sales & Marketing.

 

In May 2008 he decided to use all his skills learnt over the years to form JWH Timber Products, which now has a strong reputation for providing customers with a top quality product - but at a reasonable price.

 

Many of our customers also praise our Technical customer service on the telephone, answering questions about products they are interested in purchasing which makes them feel more confident about dealing with our company.

    JWH 15mm & 20mm Oak Aged & Distressed Multiply flooring is constructed using a water resistant Birch Plywood back board with a 4mm or 6mm wear layer, which ensures a stable product and gives the appearance and properties of a solid board.

     

    Classically appealing aged & distressed surfaces with natural oil finishes in various traditional colours. The apperance of this nostalgic flooring is achieved by various combinations of smoking, brushing and staining on a mix of character grades.

     

    Suitable for new build properties, conservatories, barn conversions, restaurants, retail Shops,large Commercial developments and under floor heating systems.

    Oak Sawn Surface Flooring

    JWH 15mm & 20mm Oak Sawn Surface Multiply flooring is constructed using a water resistant Birch Plywood back board with a 4mm or 6mm wear layer, which ensures a stable product and gives the appearance and properties of a solid board.

     

    Authentic and subtle sawn face flooring with distinctive texture and rich colours, applied to a mix grades in European oak engineered flooring.

     

    The sawn face structure of each board is unique, there are no repetitive surface textures applied. In the past before modern milling techniques were applied, boards contained so-called kerfs.

     

    The subltle kerf marks in our Sawn Surface collection reflect this old technique. As stains are absorbed differently by the kerf marks, this collection of flooring results in spectacular contrast and colour tones.

    Ash Multiply Flooring

    JWH 15mm & 20mm Ash Multiply flooring is constructed using a water resistant Birch Plywood back board with a 4mm or 6mm wear layer, which ensures a stable product and gives the appearance and properties of a solid board.

     

    There are many advantages of using this product which are almost no shrinkage or warping due to its unique structure, lifelong usage due to the hardwood top layer, combined with lower installation costs due to long length boards.
